The judges have made their choice...  

And the winners are... 

In 3rd Place:  'The Third Degree'       by Barry Staff  (Prize £25)

In 2nd Place:  'Do you remember the First Time?'        by Martin Adams  (Prize £75)

The judges were unanimous in their decision and awarded

First Prize to:  

'The View from the Window'          by A. D. Cooper (Prize £500 sponsored by Creative Dorset)

In addition to the cash prizes, finalists received The Screenwriter's Handbook 2010 and will be able to choose tickets to attend one of the Prequel or Sequel networking events being held in 2010. 

Hearty Congratulations to all those who entered and on the high standard of entries.  The judges were impressed by the amazing efforts of writers to tell a great story. Clearly they were stories writers' were passionate about.  The Judges laughed, they cried, were bemused by some, but in the end what shone through were simple, memorable stories well told.   

However,  there is GREAT NEWS for all entrants: LevelFilms have made a request to read all the entries in their search for a film project... so everyone who entered can rest assured that their script will have not only received critical feedback by an industry reader, been read by a group of judges working in the industry and now been read by a production company, in a genuine attempt to root out something which matches with their film festival interests.
