Damian Trasler (Entertainer, Writer, Performer): I attended a Prequel to Cannes and found it both interesting and helpful. I made contacts there that resulted in useful exposure and work, as well as meeting people face to face that I had previously only known through the web. Any event organised or recommended by Rosie will be worth attending.

White Lantern Film: The event was fantastic, a real success and something which should happen more often if the creative industries are to develop and survive here.  The success is a real testament to your hard work – I hope that you felt it was a success as you created a mini Cannes right here!  The evening was exactly like the festival and I know we found the event extremely beneficial; I wish it happened more often

David Watson (Writer)  thank you for your help and well done for organising Prequel to Cannes for me it was a successful night. If Thursday Night taught me anything, it is that it is not a closed trade but you really do need help from people already working in the industry. I learnt alot more from your night than I have from anywhere else.

Adam Neale: (Director/Producer) Best thing about the event: Getting to meet people that I had heard of 'on the grape vine' but never having had the opportunity to meet.

Sasha Paul (Actress, Writer, Director, Dramatic Productions): ANOTHER TRIUMPH!What a lovely evening, Rosie, useful, interesting and buzzy. I spoke to lots of people who were clearly benefiting!

Nickola Moore (Arts Development Manager): interesting conversations and great feedback on the forms from last night's event.

Cathy Gremin (South West Screen) We would definitely be interested in supporting your event again

Danny Stack (Screenwriter) Thanks for a cracking night last night, really good once again.

Sue Sudbury (Sequoia Films) I just wanted to say what a great evening it was - really useful to meet new people in the industry and it was also good fun.

John Foster: Congratulations on last night -- very successful and great fun, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing and it was great to catch up with people I hadn't seen for some time.  I also made some useful contacts and maybe even have another student for MA Writing for the Media.

Sally Seward (Journalist and Screenwriter): Thanks for organising last night's event at the RNLI college. I have several extremely useful contacts from it and will definitely be entering your scriptwriting competition.

Sue Tisdall (Trade and Investment Advisor) Just to also say thanks for a great event yesterday - well done, I think it was very successful and a boost to the industry.

Mike Rundle (Trade and Investment Advisor) both Sue and I felt that the people we met were the right type of people we should be interacting with.  I'll keep you updated with any significant developments on all the contacts we made.

Ray Tostevin (Grace Productions): a brilliant evening last night! It was good meeting Annabel from UnLtd, and Dominic from Connecting Dorset. And also seeing Danny, John, Lucy, and more....

Andy Marsh (Filmmaker): Many thanks for last night. I appreciate a lot of effort goes into putting events together - and the introductions you gave me were really useful. Thanks again and hopefully see you again soon."

Nell Denton (Screenwriter): Thanks, Rosie, it was a great night and met lots of old friends and new.

Fiona Julian (Broadcaster, Writer and Journalist): Thanks for all your organising A lovely evening. I was inspired to write a script!

Jeremy Paul (Screenwriter, Playwright, Author, Director): what a fine achievement Thursday night was  - and it will be great if some meaningful results are achieved

Patrick Peiro (Musician, Actor, MD) great buzz about the "delegates", loads of intensive chat & networking - perfect!

Jan Caston (Television Writer):  First, a thank you for making me feel so welcome and starting me off on Thursday evening.  It is never easy to make the first conversation at these events.

Barbara Cox (Nutrichef):  I wanted to thank you for hosting a very interesting event. It was incredibly enjoyable.

Jan Weddup (Screenwriter): thanks for organising such a well-planned and useful event

Mark Green (competition entrant) I just wanted to say many thanks for the script feedback, which I received this week. It's a huge boost to get constructive feedback, so often competitions offer no such encouragement.

David Spencer (competition entrant) What a lovely surprise, really, one of the last six, and a book, how nice.
A. D. Cooper (Winner of the 2009 Short Film Script Competition) And I just see that I've won - even better!!  Wow!
